Forever Energy is in the process of filing for a $1.6 billion dollar loan from the United States Department of Energy that will support supply chain development and the build out of a mass manufacturing site in the Southeastern United States.
Vanadium flow batteries are a proven technology, first developed in the 1980’s in Australia. The United States Government Pacific Northwest National Lab (PNNL) developed the mixed acid electrolyte used in Forever Energy’s vanadium flow battery. The electrolyte is the key to creating an advanced battery that outperforms lithium and prior generation vanadium flow batteries.
Over the thirty-year life of an FEv solar+storage system, homeowners and commercial property owners will only need a single Forever Energy system to supply nearly 100 percent of their power; including the charging of multiple vehicles. Current popular lithium battery solar storage systems require twelve batteries over the same period with regular replacements every six to eight years.
BATCH PRODUCTION TO MASS PRODUCTION
Forever Energy plans to establish its production facility in the Southeastern region of the United States. At this site, Forever Energy will produce, assemble and warehouse FEv systems. The former automotive plant will employ over 2,000 people, supporting employment while also stimulating the local economy.

Traditional generation systems send power from large generation sites to consumers. Distributed generation systems gather power from many small sites which can function independently, or as part of the power grid. They increase efficiency, improve reliability, diminish emissions, and save consumers money.
Forever Energy’s FEv captures and stores solar power right where it’s going to be consumed. As it captures and converts energy faster, stores power longer and distributes more quickly, users of the FEv system will receive the energy they need when they need it. And excess energy may be fed back to the electrical grid, improving grid capacity and reliability, reducing emissions, and generating profit.
